Mardi Gras Masked Man Figurine
Vintage, Mardi Gras figurine of a masked man in yellow costume holding a large, white mask. The majority of the figurine has been cold painted, while the white areas are glazed, and have been enhance with gold gilt trim.
Masked man's costume is also trimmed with fur at the waist.
Manufacturer is possibly Japan. Markings include a set of red stamped numbers on the bottom.
Circa: 1940's.
Size: 6.5 inches tall.
Condition: Good; small hole on man's arm, which appears to be a manufacturer's flaw. (see photo 4.) Some wear to the cold paint in areas, and fur is worn and thin in places. |
