Vintage Pie Plate, Americaware USA, by Ann Mallory. This hard-to-find pie plate measures 10 3/4" across. It was designed by Ann Mallory. She is a very interesting person, (a Stanford graduate), and there is an inextricable link between Mallory's art and the natural world. This link is forged by her years of observation of the power and fragility of nature's miraculous creations. This pie dish is a perfect example with its embossed purple grapes on one side. It is in excellent condition with the Americaware USA - A. Mallory mark on the bottom. |
