Vintage Cup and Saucer, Metlox, Vernon Ware, Spring Garland Pattern #V661, Country French shape. This Spring Garland pattern was made between 1979 and 1986. The cup is 2 1/2" tall and the saucer is 6 1/8" across. Against an off-white background, these cups and saucers are decorated with branches of flowers in red, yellow and dark blue. The cup and the saucer are trimmed in green and the saucer has a wavy edge with complementing embossed white ridges. The cup is also embossed with matching ridges. The effect is beautiful. They are both in like-new condition--one has a pinhead sized paint flek. They have the Metlox mark. |
