Vintage Relish Dish, James Kent (Old Foley), Fine Earthenware, Staffordshire, England, Triple Sectioned Relish Dish. This beautiful dish measures 11" by 9 1/2" and is 1 1/2" deep. The wavy edge has embossed scrolling over each individual bowl. The bottom of each bowl is decorated with a lovely bouquet of pink and white roses. The dish could be used for horsdeuvres, nuts, or candy. It has light factory crazing and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or damage. It has the "Fine Earthenware James Kent Old Foley Staffordshire" globe mark. According to KOVELS.com, this mark was used between 1913-1918. |
