Cookie Jar, Sierra Vista California, Cottage. Sierra Vista was a family business operated out of Pasadena, CA. from 1944 until 1951. This is a very nice example of their work. The cottage is white with brown roof. The front and back of the house are colorfully decorated with a yellow door, windows and flowers. It is 9" tall and 9" across.

| This jar is pictured on page 346 of the Cookie Jar book by Mark & Ellen Supnick and valued at $175. It's in good vintage condition, with just two small glaze flecks on the edge of the lid (see photo) and overall crazing. It's marked on it's base, "Sierra Vista 53 California USA" |
