Vintage Hors D'oeuvres Vase, De Lee Art. This fabulous old De Lee Art rooster vase is 10" tall x 3" wide x 5 1/2" long (from tail to chest). This is a dual-use item because in addition to the vase opening, there are toothpick holes on the breast of the rooster for hors d'oeuvres. The yellow, brown, green, white and black paint is all intact under the glaze. However, his red coxcomb was painted on top of the glaze and is quite worn off. He also has overall crazing and two paint flakes on his chest. The "De Lee Art" mark is impressed on the bottom. |
