There are 3 of these plates. They are in very good condition showing minor signs of wear (one has 3 tiny surface abrasion spots on the back of the rim). They are stamped "J&G Meakin English Staffordshire Sterling Renaissance Genuine Hand Engraving Permanent Colours".

It is octagonal in shape--in very nice condition for its age with minor wear to the gold - Two little manufacturer pops, glazed over, done in factory. NO chips, cracks or scratches. Bowl, J & G Meakin, Sol, Nebraska. This old bowl measures 5 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall. It is named "Nebraska". he bowl is small and deep. Am unsure of its intended use. Perhaps a small vegetable bowl or a soup bowl. In any case, it is in very good condition and marked "J&G Meakin Hanley England".
