Planter, American Bisque, Puppy With Slipper. This vintage planter is really cute. It's 5 1/2" tall. The brown puppy with the pink cheeks is jumping up on a yellow boot or slipper. This piece is pictured in the American Bisque Giacomini book. CONDITION: Tiny crazing, a manufacturer's glop of glaze on the boot, and a tiny separation in the glaze on the edge of the planter area. There are no chips or cracks and the planter area is clean, indicating no use. This is a real lovely old piece of pottery and has the wedges on the bottom.
