The Metlox brochure describes it best. "One of the most difficult colors to achieve in hand decorating fine earthenware is the 'just right' luscious red, used as an accent in this delightful pattern. Balancing the hand-painted strawberries are the subtle avocado-green leaves, with solid tone avocado green color in the uniquely-shaped hollowware.
