Cup and saucer, Japan, rimmed in blue, white with decorations of pink budding flowers surrounded by thorny stems and green leaves. The flowers are in the center of the saucer and on both sides of the cup. The effect is stunning and colorful. This set is in mint condition.

This lot of 13 Japan dishes consists of a sugar bowl with lid (6 1/2" across), creamer (5 1/2" across), three cups, two saucers, and five salad dishes. The creamer has a 1/8" glaze skip on the mouth. The sugar bowl has a 1/8" chip on the inner lip of the bowl (visible only when lid is lifted); one saucer has a 1/4" chip on its edge, and one cup has a glaze fleabite on its edge. The price reflects the condition. The rest of the dishes are in excellent condition. This set is very fragile and beautiful. There is a mark on the underside of each dish. (see photo)
